Northern Run is a full-service show jumping stable, established by Cindy Brooks in February of 1999. Since Northern Run's inception, Cindy has selected and produced, year after year, some of California's top hunters. The careers of Omaha Beach, Aruba, Cartouche, and Saturday Matinee; all young horses brought along to become top west coast champions. More recently she has added to this list Touch My Heart, Lascaux, Keep The Change and Agustus.     What sets Northern Run's program apart from the others was Cindy's intent to operate a business small in numbers which would provide the time necessary for one on one attention to each horse and rider. She oversees, along with her staff, every aspect of every horse's program and provides the best quality care and supervision of each. Her program is individualized and she consistently evaluates and reviews long and short term goals with her riders and owners.   Every effort is made to ensure the longevity of each horse’s career by including in her team the most esteemed advisors in their field: Peninsula Equine (veterinary), Richard Brook (farrier), Nancy Elliott (acupuncture and chiropractic), Tony Schiro (energy work and healer). The work ethic, professionalism, organization and attention to detail, along with a solid team, give Northern run that competitive edge.   All of these qualities were instilled in Cindy from an early age. Having grown up in one of the most respected families in the horse business she has followed in their footsteps to become the outstanding horsewoman that she is today.   Previous Career Highlights: Don Tipton Award for the P.C.H.A.’s professional high point rider –6 consecutive years. International Hunter Futurity West Coast Regionals 8 consecutive years and the International Hunter Futurity finals at Washington International. Cindy captured championships with horses “Vested”, “Trinity”, and “Just For Fun”at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Washington International, and The National Horse Show at Madison Square Garden in New York –the “Triple Crown”of shows in our sport.
